Commercial Image Licensing Policy
This Commercial Image Licensing Policy (“Licensing Policy”) establishes the terms governing the commercial use of photographs created and owned by WEDVIBE LLC. It supplements the Website Terms of Use, Website Content Usage Policy, and applicable photography service agreements.
1. Purpose
Unless expressly authorized in writing, no commercial license is granted merely because photographs appear on the Website, social media, or other public platforms operated by WEDVIBE LLC.
2. Ownership of Photographs
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, WEDVIBE LLC remains the sole copyright owner of all photographs it creates. Client payment, gallery delivery, publication, vendor sharing, or magazine publication do not transfer copyright ownership.
3. No Implied Commercial License
Public availability of photographs does not create an implied license. Commercial use always requires prior written authorization unless expressly permitted by law.
4. Personal License Granted to Clients
Subject to the applicable photography agreement, clients receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable personal-use license. Clients may download, print, and share photographs for personal purposes but may not sell, sublicense, authorize vendor marketing, upload to stock libraries, or permit AI training.
5. Vendor Use
Venues, planners, florists, makeup artists, hair stylists, videographers, entertainers, rental companies, designers, jewelers, and other vendors may not use WEDVIBE photographs for commercial promotion without written permission. Approved use requires proper photographer credit, no misleading edits, and compliance with all license conditions.
6. Venue Marketing
Wedding venues receive no automatic right to use photographs on websites, brochures, advertisements, social media campaigns, or promotional materials. Separate written permission may be required.
7. Editorial Publications
Magazines, blogs, publishers, and editorial platforms should obtain prior written authorization unless publication has been coordinated by WEDVIBE LLC. Authorized publications may require photographer credit, a website link, and preservation of image integrity.
8. Commercial Brands
Brands, manufacturers, hotels, fashion companies, jewelry companies, software providers, and other commercial entities may not use photographs for advertising, sponsorships, endorsements, or promotional campaigns without a written commercial license.
9. Social Media by Vendors
When permission has been granted, vendors may publish approved photographs only with visible credit to WEDVIBE LLC, without AI editing, excessive retouching, removal of branding, or sublicensing.
10. Prohibited Alterations
No license authorizes AI enhancement, AI outpainting, style transfer, background replacement, removal of people, significant recoloring, misleading cropping, or removal of branding unless expressly approved in writing.
11. Revocation of License
WEDVIBE LLC may revoke any license if its conditions are violated, attribution is omitted after notice, photographs are materially altered, or images are used beyond the approved scope or in connection with unlawful or misleading activities.
12. Licensing Requests
Requests should include the requester’s name, business, intended use, duration, territory, publication platform, and the specific photographs requested. Approval remains at the sole discretion of WEDVIBE LLC.
13. Unauthorized Commercial Use
Unauthorized commercial use may result in cease-and-desist demands, DMCA notices, removal requests, licensing invoices, claims for damages, injunctive relief, and any other remedies available under applicable law.
